VACCINATIONS: All vaccinations delivered by suitably trained pharmacists have always been covered by indemnity insurance as part of the standard PDA membership apart from Covid-19. For new membership renewals after January 1st, 2026, Covid-19 vaccinations are now also automatically covered.

    The Tax Refund Company is a PDA Plus partner and has helped employed members recover over £23,000 in overpaid tax in the last 9 years after finding HMRC had given them the wrong tax codes.

  • Pharmacists reassert their opposition to facilitated self-selection of P-medicines in PDA survey amid safety concerns

    93% of respondents to the latest Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) survey do not support allowing Pharmacy medicines (P medicines) to be available for so-called facilitated self-selection in community pharmacies. This coincides with national media coverage highlighting increased concerns about shoplifting and aggressive behaviour in pharmacies.
