Against a backdrop of increasing discrimination against minoritised groups and growing polarisation in the UK, the event called for unity, hope, and collective action.

PDA LGBT+ Network reflects on experiences in pharmacy at LGBT+ History Month event

The PDA LGBT+ Network marked LGBT+ History Month 2026, with an online event on 25 February, bringing together members from across the profession to share their lived experiences and explore how the sector can continue to become more inclusive and representative.

PDA LGBT+ Network endorse the BMUS guidance for practitioners on transvaginal ultrasound examinations

The PDA LGBT+ Network was made aware of guidance produced by the British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) on the practice of transvaginal ultrasound (TVUS) examinations, which were updated last year.
